Georgia Chamber Regional Small Business Series
The Georgia Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce recently held the first event of their Regional Small Business Series, also known as New Georgia Economy Series. Attorney Stan Faulkner had the honor to be one of the speakers on this event as one of the local business experts.
The first stop of the Georgia Chamber Regional Small Business Series was in Cartersville at Georgia Highlands College on April 25th, 2019. In partnership with Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce, the Georgia Chamber offered a half-day workshop intended to provide unique insights into emerging business trends and risks, and the impacts of small business, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
At the event, small business owners heard from experts in the community about a wide range of topics ranging from future trends in human resources to how to achieve the next level of success for their businesses. Attendees could learn about talent and leadership, entrepreneurship and innovation, global commerce and competitiveness, advanced corporate and university research and development, and physical infrastructure and assets.
The aim of the Regional Small Business Series is to give small businesses a chance to better prepare for the developing trends in the economy as well to mitigate the risks better. Each event features both local success stories along with national expert voices on topics such as building your brand, creating a healthy workforce, and getting up to speed on cybersecurity.
With a heavy emphasis on networking, each event pairs essential business tips with opportunities to share your own story with fellow business owners beyond your community and across industries.
Stan Faulkner participated in a panel discussion the “Business Services & Preparedness,” and talked about how to effectively grow your businesses and protect your brand and your finances.
